I need a series to watch......

WOW thanks....I don't even know about half the stuff you guys named but thanks. Kamen Rider the first had a movie? I haven't seen any sentai series so which one is hands down the greatest?

"Kamen Rider The First" is a movie that came out in 2005 which retells the origin of the very first two Riders from the original Kamen Rider series. It's a completely different thing from the original 1972 series.

Anyway I can't make any suggestions since most have already been made. Except I'd advise giving a chance to any and all shows or movies whether or not their from the big franchise series and regardless of which company made them. There's a lot of good stuff out there that isn't called "Kamen Rider" or "Super Sentai," so if ever given the chance, at least check them out.

IVe never seen any ultraman series. I wonder are they any good? Do they Henshin?

In the techincal sense of the word, yes. Do they yell it out, no. Ultraman is one of the oldest, if not the oldest, currently running Tokusatsu on air (though, IIRC, its went on hiatus this year after Mobieus).

I would suggest Ultraman Tiga, the movie Ultraman The Next and then Ultraman Nexus.

Gaia I've heard good stuff about but I've yet to see more than an ep or two.

They do henshin but a key aspect to that is that they grow to giant size when they do so and they don't shout "henshin".

Heroes in multi-colored suits: Old school (70s through early 90s), I'd go with Bioman, Maskman, Dairanger, and Kakuranger, and new school (1995 on up) I'd go with GoGoV, Timeranger, Hurricanger, Dekaranger and Gekiranger.

The crossover movies are also great to watch.

Heroes who ride bikes: I've just started out in this field as well, so at this point, I'd probably recommend Black, Black RX, and Kuuga.

Heroes who go CLANG!: Probably Kikaider, Spielban, and Metalder. Maybe Juukou B-Fighter.

Actually that brings up another point. I always think it's important to tell folks new to this to not be afraid of trying older stuff. Understandable that you may want to start with newer series just don't dimiss what's come before. It might seem weird or cheesy or bad effects or whatever, but if you're willing to roll with it, have a little sense of history and use your imagination, you may just find yourself having a blast.

Of course there is no school like the old school. Thats Why I love the Original Mobile Suit Gundam so much.:anime:
