I Like Commercials and Promos. :(

Does this make me a bad person? I get chills when I see a good trailer, anime or video game promo.... the other night I saw a Nike commercial during American Idol (the lady made me watch it) and I liked it a lot.

Am I the only one that has a thing for a good commercial?

I like seeing promos for movies I want to watch in the theatres. Occasionally a commercial will come on tv that I'll enjoy.

Like for instance, there was a multigrain cheerios commercial with an English wife and husband, and the wife is eating the cheerios. The husband (Steve) comes in, and sees her eating them, and asks her if she's trying to watch her weight. She asks him why he would say that, and he begins to tell her about the nutitional values and such, reading them off the box. He eventually realizes that he's put his foot in his mouth, and the wife casually asks, " What else does the box say?" to which the husband replies, " The box says, Shut up, Steve."

I LOVED THAT COMMERCIAL.

And then they fucking DUBBED OVER THE COMMERCIAL with American accents. I'm assuming this is because people were having trouble understanding their accents...and now I HATE IT when I see it on tv. Stupid dubbing.

Nah, I love a good commercial. My favorite right now is the new Taco Bell ad with the two 9's looking at their own billboard, and one of them says "I don't have an ego, I just love how awesome I am."

If its something good, like the Doritos commercial yeah I won't mind I just hate it, when a commercial comes on so often you eventually get sick of it. An example of this, is that Primo comercial, the one with the theme song. And the comercial for Life cereal(the one with the two kids)

My all-time favorite ad was a Japanese ad for Phantasy Star Online. It was a stop-motion deal with a phone flirting with a Dreamcast, and at the end the Dreamcast sticks it's phone line into the back of the phone and you hear a little grunt from the phone. I have no idea where you could possibly see that now though, I can't find it on YouTube.
