I Got a New Phone!

I actually got mine for free, cause it used to be my brothers(he upgraded). My phone has a camera for pic/videos, speaker phone, bluetooth, mp3, wav, plays games, etc. The speakerphone comes in great handy while driving in the city, because in Chicago, you can get a ticket for talking on your cell phone while driving.

Nice Phone JC!!

My phone though, is just a normal average phone that does what it's surposed to do.

I wouldn't mind having a phone that I can connect to my PC and dowload MP3's to. Imagine if I was at college, everybody would be showing off their crappy ass ringtones that they downloaded from one of these stupid ads in magazines, while I would have one that goes "dundundundundundun WAKEUP!!!", and everybody else would be like "what the fook?!!!".

Still, I'm not at college anymore, so all this won't matter anymore.

My Cell has a camera built in. But I still carry a camera with me all the time.

I'd rather have a single device capable of a variety of functions than a variety of devices.

Saves on crap I have to carry.

One of the reasons I love my PSP.
Same with me, I don't like to carry stuff around in my pocket, now I got a mp3 player, phone and camera in one gadget.

Motorola's got nice phone designs but I hear the menu's aren't that great.

Yeah... navigation and menu stuffnjunk doesn't feel as natural as it did on my Nokia, but still... just feels good to have a new phone after like.. 4-5 years of the same one.

I tried the cell phone thing a couple of years ago. Wasn't worth it for me. Not only did Verizon want me to put down $400 to start their monthly plan, there was still $200 just to activate the phone and get a number. At the time I was still in college and had no money, so I just went with the pay as you go dealy. Not much better, as the minutes dried up way too fast. And I didn't even talk on the phone all that much. I finally said forget it and probably won't get another cell phone until I obtain more stable income.

I figure that people were fine for over 50 years with just a home phone, so that's what I have right now. Good thing about the explosion of cell phones is that since everyone has one of them instead of a landline phone, the phone companies are doing fixed rate monthly service to compete. I recall when I was younger you paid by the minute and my sister would run up $100+ bills every month. This prompted our mother to take out the phone completely.
