I must admit that I was initially skeptical of Hunt Club. People hunting other people for sport has been done before, and it frequently feels gratuitous. This film, on the other hand, surprised me with its nuanced examination of power dynamics and gender roles. The female characters in the film are complex characters who fight back against their oppressors in a satisfyingly bloody way. The film also has a talented cast, with standout performances by Maya Stojan and Will Peltz. Hunt Club is an exciting ride that will keep you thinking long after the credits have rolled.

This film is a piece of cinema that combines elements of grindhouse and social commentary. The depiction of toxic masculinity and its potential consequences, along with strong performances by the cast, makes it an appealing choice for those who enjoy this genre. I personally don't like and recommend it.
