To a small extent, yes. Certain programs are also available outside Japan, most of them airing some time after the original broadcast. However, few people receive those channels and even less (virtually none) encode files off of it to share on p2pProbably a stupid question, but does Toku only air in Japan? I mean, are people able to receive channels like TV Asashi in other countries? If so, then it may not be that bad. Even if they can't, I dont think it will stick. It may just be one more hurdle we have to go through, but we will get the RAWs.
Uhm, you DO realize that all these direct downloads (megaupload, rapidshare, dedicated hosting, etc) are ALL dependent on the Japanese p2p programs, because that's where they get their files. It's like this (simplified version) :So in other words, no more File sharing but just Direct downloads and if you don't like, then shut up.:laugh: :laugh:
