I would have the second turbo team come in first instead of half way through
and I would've had general havoc be the villain instead of divatox

If you enjoy Dairanger or Ohranger or Carranger, then you're a hypocrite. All these have kid members and are as well done as Justin, which isn't bad really. Not like MMPR was an epic treasure to begin with, so why the hate? If you don't, cmon. Justin was like a kid who can do anything in the realm of being a kid, and at least he wasn't like that kid in the film who could operate complex machinery for no reason.
Agree with Havoc, and no monkeys, but have the rangers swap minds with pets for an episode if we're gonna have a comedic episode.
Phantom Rangers would be reused Bioman suits, and in In Space , alien rangers from other older sentai are used sparingly until LG.

Keep Zordon longer in the series.
I didn't mind the Ranger change, so keep that. Maybe introduce TJ as the blue ranger and transition him into the Red Ranger then.
And agreed with everyone else, no monkeys. Even as a young child, with Turbo being my first live PR series I watched while I watched reruns of everything else (I was born when the show debuted in 93 so I had to go with the reruns).
Don't make Tommy a mechanic. That was just dumb. Took away from his awesomeness.

The problem with Justin was not that he was a child, it was the execution of his character. He becomes a ranger out of the blue, he is still written like he is a normal teenager, just more whiny, and it just didn't make sense. Kou was still a child and had to rely on others to help him out. He also acted like a child even when he was transformed. And King Ranger being a child made sense since he was Egyptian. FOr CarRanger, the girl was a parody of a magical girl and was not truly a ranger.

What Linkara said was a mistake, which he'll repeat in his Lightspeed Rescue review. You can't hack backwards, because barely any of the suits and props are intact, and the footage was dated. An even better reason. Bandai would have to create new master molds of the deluxe zords (since they most likely don't exist anymore). Power Rangers needs a toyline to function.
After the first PR movie was made, Saban knew a second one will come. That second movie was not coming until season 5. When Carranger was being made, they were working with Toei. PRZ was not going to be that season. It served as filler until that time comes.
MMPR Season 3 was losing ratings. PRZ wasn't doing any better either. By the time PRT came, they had to get a new cast by slowly getting rid of the old ones, aswell as acting like PRZ never happened. By the time they got to the second-half of Turbo where they got a new cast, ratings picked up because the show was fresh for the new audience.
You want something like MMPR Season 2 & 3 and have an Ohranger-adaptation with Carranger elements, and in turn you're comparing it to how PRS was done. That is nothing like PRS. PRS is a 40-episode season with 4-specials that got split into two “sub-seasons” (I don't think that's a real term, but it works for PRS since it was one season split into two parts just for TV) of some sorts. Why did PRS do this? Because Nickelodeon wanted to air it for two-years.

MMPR was losing ratings because of how half assed they were airing it. I mean, they would have a new episode on a Monday, then fill the rest of the week up with reruns. Then you had the cliffhanger and it was several months before they finally came back for 2 whole weeks of new episodes, which also ended on a cliffhanger. Then they bring in Zeo, which had like 12 episodes, ended on a cliffhanger with another several month break before finishing the show, which ended on another cliffhanger that never continued.
