In response to the Garo thread.
I'm too impatient to wait for the raw to show up on Anarion as most times it's not updated for up to two weeks. I use Winny to download but in order to use it your computer must be set to Japanese. When my computer is in English mode (see Date, Time, Language and Regional Options) Winny is nothing but a gray box with question marks.
In Windows XP go into the Control Panel and select the Date, Time, Language and Regional Options. Click on Advanced. Select Japanese then make sure the code conversion tables are set to Japanese. Click OK then follow the directions that come up on your screen. You may need your XP cd to install the language packages. Reboot and now your computer will be able to use Winny (don't worry, your computer will still be set in English unless you changed that Regional Options).
Now, you'll need to know Japanese in order to search. Ok, no you don't. I know my Japanese is limited and so I cheat. I use CDJapan and Neowing to find the Kanji and Kana I need to find the series I want to download from.
Go to CDJapan and type in the series you want to find - example, Magiranger. Once it pulls up all the Magiranger items they have for sale, scroll down to the DVDs and select one of the items then either click on the Neowing link OR replace CDJapan with Neowing in the address bar (www.neowing.co.jp).
Example, http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=DSTD-6953 replace it with http://www.neowing.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=DSTD-6953.

There is your Kanji and Kana that you need to search on Winny. Do the same for any other series you're looking for - Justirisers, Sazer X, Hibiki, Garo, etc. Paste it into the top left search field and click on either arrow that's to the right of it. Doesn't really matter which one you click on since it'll pull it up in the top or bottom field. It may take a few minutes to find everything but it'll find it. Double click on the name and you'll either download it immediately or it'll be placed, I guess, in a queue. Leave Winny open to download the file.
Remember two things:
1) Be wary of double ending files - example, .avi.jpg
2) Scan files before opening.
Sazer X files can be found by early Saturday morning (at the latest).
Magiranger and Hibiki can be found by early Sunday morning (at the latest).
Sometimes the files will show up by late Friday night or Saturday night (depending on what series you're looking for). I typically have my files (completed download) by 11 AM Saturday morning (for Justiriser & now Sazer X) and by 10 AM Sunday morning (for Hibiki and Magiranger).
