Well, I do usually agree with RT. I guess I kinda have to see it now. Atleast they finally shied away from this.

I didn't sneer at the poster at all. I knew I was going to love this movie from day 1.

How? I thought the trailers and pretty much everything including the name of the movie sounded absolutely awful.

I'm SO glad I found out otherwise.

First off I love dragons. Next I thought animation looked great, and the trailers for it were lots of fun.

Not sure if I want to see this in theaters or not. It is Dreamworks so i'm assuming it's a movie you have to turn your brain off to enjoy. They did build up some good faith with Kung Fu Panda.

The only parts you have to turn your brain off for would be

This was seriously such a stupidly good movie, I'm surprised its a Dreamworks one. I would have liked for a little bit more of David Tennant and Fishlegs but aside from that I have no complaints about this movie.

Saw it yesterday in Stunning IMAX 3D.

The story was pretty run of the mill, and you could tell what was going to happen. But the visuals were absolutely stunning in IMAX 3D. Best I've ever seen.

This is one of the few movies I'm considering paying see twice because of how it looked.
