How to Mod my PS2

I have wanted to play Climax Hero but I have no modded PS2, and actually until today, no PS2. Well, I did, but had lost it since we moved 3 years ago. My friends giving me his old cables and I am hooking up a whole PS2 place next to my computer and moving an old TV up there.

So, I gotta know. How do I mode my Ps2?

I got a mod chip installed onto mine, but you'll need Swap Magic to play imports.

Do you have a fat PS2 or a slim one?

...although you can use a slim ps2. It's just not as much as a hassel with the fat ps2.

I wish I had a slim Ps2, but I got this thing back in like 2004 so yeah. So what do I ahve to buy next to the SwapMagic disc?

you have to make a swap tool to pull the disc tray out. Here is an tutorial to make one:

Also, you need to take off the face plate on the disc tray in order to slide in the tool. Just open the disc tray and snap it off. Though be warned, there are two pieces on either side of the face plate that snap the plate onto the tray. That piece breaks really easily so be careful if you plan on snapping the face plate back on the disc tray. A demostration on how to use it is below:
