How often do you actually PLAY with your toys?

This is something I've been thinking about lately.


Was moving around a bunch of stuff earlier & found that there's DUST collecting on virtually all of my Megazords.


It seems like lately I've been buying stuff just for the sake of collecting & not because its something I'd actually enjoy.

That has to change.

I don't really play with mine but I do pose them a lot! So in a way I guess I do play with them still since I do poses with them. Or make fight scene poses.

Sometimes ya just have to dust them off, give them a little attention and come back to them later when you have the spare time!

I can't remember ever really doing the "bam bam pew pew" kind of play with my toys. At least not with the non-roleplay stuff.

I play with them by posing and transforming them, and I do it pretty often, but some guys get neglected just because I have so many!

Same... I tend to "play" with my more-favored stuff, i.e. Figuarts, Shinkenger stuff (especially DX DaikaiShinkenoh), etc. most at the moment.

But the majority of my stuff is inside shelves with glass doors so dust isn't that big a problem for me.

I guess I "play" with my figures a little here and there, but mostly I play with my rider belts/weapons. Like lately I've been practicing my W henshin pose with my double driver. And since I don't own Metal Shaft, I occasionally swing around a broom. So yeah, that's what I do behind closed doors.

I pick a toy everyday and play with it and my son does too its like a tradition he expects it everyday before bedtime :sweat:

As soon as I get home from college for whatever reason, running up to my room to play with my figures is one of the first things I do (right after hugging the family, eating some of mom's good cooking, making plans with the guys at home, and trying out the other guitars I left behind). I've also made a hobby out of taking pictures of my toys in cool poses. I have so many cool plans for a toy Christmas album this year :thumbs:

Same too...

I guess the closes to 'playing' would be my shinkenger mecha. I will change the combination once every few days, since it is like standing on top of my rarely used printer...

Then rarely, I change the display of my ultra monsters that are on my shelves. Other stuff gets stored away, waiting to see the light of the day when they can rise again and rule my shelves.

Otherwise, I don't really play with my toys. I buy them just mainly for display and possession's sake, you know, just to feel good that I own something I like :anime:
