How many shots does it take to get drunk

I was talking to Rider Knight on MSN and I thought of a thread.

Roughly how many shots of booze does it take each of you guys and gals to get hammered?.

and do you find that say mixing whiskey with coke waters down the alcohol therefore not getting you as drunk as you should be?.


I haven't had shots in forever. I usually mix my ****. But I think tonight for WWE SmackDown! I will take shots instead with my boys. So I'll have a # for you guys tomorrow.

We talking about *just* shots without drinking anything else? Cuz I've not done that before.

I do know that if I do more than two of some killer stuff, there's gonna be some crazed hell at the other end of that glass.

I don't just drink shots, I drink beer and down Vodka which is what I did last night at my mate's 18th. We put money together and got this large jug of Jack Daniels and I had most of it. Love JD! Shouldn't be mixed, it's great the way it is! I have Stella Artois with shots and sometimes Irn Bru WKD which is well nice. People call it a girls drink but this is like the same alcohol content as Stella!

I'd say I could go about four to five if I wanted to punish myself.

Wouldn't know. I never drink myself drunk. Just enough to get a good buzz going then I call it quits for the night. I seldom ever get hangovers because of this.

The most I've ever drank in one night was a 2 straight shots of whiskey. 1 shot of cognac. 4 bottles of hard lemonade and then I nursed a 40 for the rest of the night.

I try to keep down how often I get verschnookered, but it's defiantely happened on a number of occasions.

I think my record for shots was like 10 shots...all real strong ****. I'm no lightweight when it comes to drinking....

I can vouch for that. Here in Green Bay too. Jagermeister is my drink of choice, and i can do about 5-6 shots before i start to feel it.

I dont know what the number is for most other booze.
