FF16 How many hours/ days have you finished this game?

Final Fantasy XVI (2023): Clive Rosfield is drawn into a brutal war fueled by magical Dominants and their summoned Eikons. It leans fully into cinematic, action-focused combat with a darker medieval tone. AKA Final Fantasy 16, FF16, FFXVI

How many days/hours it took you to finish Final Fantasy XVI?

I had been playing for a week already and I haven't finished it because I got too busy with sidequests and grinding. I was alienated by the changes but it is still a fun game. I am just taking it slow for now. Once I finished it, I will speed run on the second playthrough. The Narrative is much more better than Final Fantasy 12 and 13. It is a fun game on its own. I understand why they remove the party system because they do not want this game to compete against Final Fantasy VII remake?

I've been playing Final Fantasy XVI for a while now, maybe like 7 days? I'm not done yet because I'm doing extra missions and stuff. The game feels cinematic like a movie and I'm enjoying it. The story is way better than other Final Fantasies. No rush for me!

It took me about 3 days to finish Final Fantasy XVI. I didn't do many side quests because I was really into Clive's story. I wanted to see what happens next, so I just stuck to that. The game felt kinda different, but I still had a lot of fun. Clive's journey was so exciting that I didn't want to get distracted. I'm planning to play it again and maybe do more side quests then!

The game was definitely worthwhile but I feel like they could have tinkered a few areas to make it a masterpiece. Namely, exploration should have been more enjoyable and the sense of discovery is lacking. Also, Sidequests are hit or miss (mostly miss). The pacing is a bit off in some main quests also. The challenge is lacking for the most part also. Those are my two cents but overall an enjoyable game

I generally agree with what you said. The FF7 remake also had various side quests, but they just felt a bit more natural to the story, and I don’t recall there being quite so many. Some in FF16 have you running around a big-ish room to drop bowls of food off for people. Stuff like that felt a bit archaic compared to how good the main story missions typically were. And I agree about exploration, as there weren’t many secrets to find, and too many times a chest would have early-game crafting items that were useless to keep getting by the 1/4 point of the game. But all in all, a very good game.

The last boss fights were awesome! Lots of cool scenes and fighting, and I had to be quick to heal when the boss attacked. I don't know if it was planned, but it made the battle intense. I beat the boss with not much health left. The game wasn't super hard, but the boss fights needed focus. I beat it on my first try, which felt good. The ending was okay, but some characters didn't get much screen time. It was mostly about Jill and Gav. I wish Torgal and Clive's friends were shown more.

The game was worth it, but some parts could've been better. Exploring wasn't as fun, and side quests were hit or miss. The main quests had pacing issues too. The game wasn't very challenging, but the boss fights were intense. The ending was decent, but some characters didn't get much attention.

The last boss battles were fantastic! Lots of exciting fights and scenes. When the boss hit, I had to immediately heal, which made the combat challenging. With little HP remaining, I defeated the boss. Although not particularly challenging, the boss battles required concentration. It felt fantastic to succeed on the first try. Although certain characters didn't get much screen time, the conclusion was alright. Mostly, it was about Jill and Gav. I would have liked to see more of Torgal and Clive's buddies.

I totally get you! Sometimes the main story just hooks you in, and that's exactly what happened with Clive's journey in Final Fantasy XVI. It's awesome that you're planning to dive back in for more and explore those side quests too. Happy gaming!
