How do the actors see through visors (bug eyes)?

Wasn't there also that 30 minute episode in english that centred around a rookie suit actor filming for one of the Den-O movies? Really, with vision like that, they deserve all the credit they can get.

On the Showa era suits it always looked to me like the black "tears" underneath the eyes were probably tinted lenses like on sunglasses. I've assumed those were probably how most of the 70s and 80s suit actors saw out of the helmet. Except for Stronger, of course, where the suit actor's eye holes are blatantly obvious.

But anyway, what they do is they have two Rider helmets, one for the action scene and one for standing.action Helmets have more lenses in the compound eyes but you won't see because of fast action while the standing helmet has one lens in the middle.

It's covered in Decade's Net Movie. There is small slits where the Suit Actor can see from. There is also two types of helmet. There's the High Detail which is used for close-ups and feature even less eyesight. Then there's the action helmet with less detail but more eyesight.

This is Decade's High Detail helmet if I'm not wrong and the circle marks where the eye slits are on that, iirc. I do not have the Net Movies on my computer so can't verify :redface2:

that helmet might look solid but im sure those eyes are actually clear.

my question is how does one see with a helmet like Ryuki, Knight or Diend?. not only do those have thos eyes but they also have the grates in front of the eyes

Oh, no. You can look all the way back to the original series and you can see a difference between the action and detailed helmets. In fact, it's actually easier to see on Ichigo and Nigo than on the modern Riders.
