How did you get interested in Toku?

What really got me into Toku was Magiranger when i realized that MF had a Japanese counterpart i went and checked it out then i found out about Goranger-Jetman so i started watching.:buttrock:

I grew up in the 80 and there were Godzilla, Gamera, and any other giant monster movie shown during the weekend, and sometimes there'd be a week long marathon. I was also lucky enough to get a station that showed Spectreman during the week. So it began for me there

Godzilla Vs. Megalon was not only the first Godzilla movie I ever saw, but the first movie I saw in theaters. It's one of my personal favorite movies, as it was the best of both worlds, which appealed to children (a dinosaur-monster and robot teaming up to fight evil monsters).

If it weren't for Godzilla Vs. Megalon, I would not have been a tokusatsu fan. But then, maybe I would. (I was also a fan of Peanuts and the Muppets!) :laugh:

you cant base that off a clip on you tube. Ultraman Ace always beat the **** out of his enemies. wait were they on gient crosses?

I watched it as a lad. and not on youtube, thus, I never want to hear about the show no more for it's bad disturbance.

i found kakuranger vs super sentai when i was in 5th and i thought it was cool, so i looked for other super sentais then i found out about kamen rider then etc.
