I think this speech was a bit exaggerated- people just don't go to the movies as much anymore. And one or two of the movies mentioned aren't that bad.

The main problem I have with Universal, though, is their obsession with constantly cashing in on whichever series of theirs that were popular without even trying to make those films any good...:nono:
