To return to a purpose, I am still getting 503 errors every few pages.

On the topic of general site performance since the switch, it seems Dream Host is having a bit of an issue. They are working to resolve it but unfortunately it's just something that will have to be lived with until they get it back under control. For status updates, or in general any other time the site is being sluggish or acting strange, you can check http://www.dreamhoststatus.com/, they're pretty good about posting updates.

While server issues always suck, at least the site is with a host now that actually lets its users know what is going on.

Looks like we have an update from the guy who got us back up in the air.

I am looking into ways to optimize the forums to try and get better performance all around. Some of them are a no brainer, some of them will have a slight visible change. Once I figure out what all I can do I'll give it to Keith to make the final call on anything causing visual changes.

I've already added CSS caching, and am looking into adding template caching which is probably going to give the biggest boost.

I don't know who was responsible for the OtakuHero prank, but that was not done by me and I'm not sure who it was done by.

HJU got hijacked without my knowledge or permission.

We're working on finding out who did this.

Anyway, we're moved, back on and working on getting everything back in place.
