Damn, I had it my hands today and was going to buy it but Ghost Rider came out today on dvd so I went with it.

BEST IN THE WORLD!!!

Ghost Rider is a great film (Whenever he's not actually ghost rider) but yes Highlander would have been the better buy.

i got this and afro samurai within a week of each other and watched both of them last tuesday, good times
i dig both highlander, but mainley bought it cuz i am a huge Yoshiaki Kawajiri fan other than him taking forever to put new material out he is my fave anime director

Ok I just got done watching Highlander The Search for Vengeance, and it kick ass!
I should have pick it when it came up but dumb me went with Ghost Rider, but I am glad I went and pick it because it action pack from start to finish!:thumbs:

Watched this abit ago its kinda cool... Lots of voices!... Beastwars & reboot a like & othe seriers... Ithink in this format a high lander animtated series could do quite well based either on hte tv seriers or the movies or a combo of both would be great 
they could go back and forth between movie highlander and tv series HL

I just finished watching the movie.
As an anime, it's pretty good.
As a Highlander story. Well, if you take it as a retelling of the Immortals it's good. Because it is clearly not connected in anyway to the original movie(s).
Case in point, first thing I though of when watching the movie was "Why does the main character ALWAYS have to be a McCloud? There were OTHER immortals for Christ sake...but NOOOOOOOooooo" But then once I realized that this anime had no connection to the first movie (which I love) other than the title and the main character is a "McCloud", I enjoyed it a HELL of alot more.
