Hentai Game Coming to the US? - Record of Agarest War

Title definitely needed changing as at a glance there's no telling with the significance of the game or trailer would be.

I can see it's not full on hentai, but I don't think a game like this has ever been released in the States.

That it's going to be a DLC game is pretty cool and ups my chances of purchasing it now... so long as it's dropped at a reasonable price.

Where'd you here this was coming to PSN and XBLA?

Joystiq, Kotaku, IGN, and Destructoid. The usuals. It's been coming since July or so. PSN download, and full retail release for 360.

It's CERO (Japanese) rating was only C. Per Wiki:

A (all ages) equivalent to ESRB's E and E10 ratings, PEGI's 3 and 7 ratings, USK's 0 and 6 ratings, and OFLC's G and PG ratings. Games rated A include Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Sonic Unleashed, and Kingdom Hearts 2.

Games rated D include Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Halo 3, Ninja Gaiden, Baldr Force EXE, BioShock, Bayonetta and Resistance 2. This is the strongest unrestricted CERO rating.
Z (ages 18 and up only) equivalent to ESRB's M and AO ratings, PEGI's 18 (high end) rating, and OFLC's MA15 (high end) and Refused Classification ratings. Games rated Z include Assassin's Creed, Dead Rising, The Godfather, Fable II, Fallout 3 and Left 4 Dead 2. The content is extreme in the CERO impact levels and therefore off-limits to persons under 18.

The price hasn't been announced yet, I know the US PS3 version is supposed to be about an 8+ gig download according to an Arksys, so you better clear up some HD space if you want it.

If anything the whole Hentai game coming to the us thing isn't necessary, since, as AZ/Monk mentioned, it's CERO C, which is pretty tame.

I had looked at it, because I love SRPGs, and needed to know if I could purchase it without angering the girlfriend. The scenes are part of the generational system. Your protag can woo female party members, and have a kids, that then becomes the new protag.

Little bit of Sakura Wars + Phantasy Star 3.

A console based dating sim/rpg? That's pretty much all the game is when you get down to it. Yeah, they've been released stateside, since back in the PS1 era at least with Thousand Arms. Then there's the Ar Tonelico series on PS2. This games no closer to hentai than those games, or games like Riviera or hell, even Cross Edge.

Any game release with a CG hot springs image is about on par with this game really.
