We got Hayabusa, H and Darkside....no fake Hayabusa? No Gannosuke donning the mask and pretending to be Hayabusa(i think it was Gannosuke, but I could be mistaken)/

Well, she requested the Ring Entrance gear specifically and I threw his other gimmicks in there as a bonus, but I can post some Hayabusa II pics if you want. And yeah, it was Gannosuke.

Hey Bolt, did you ever see those FMW tapes put out a few years back by Tokyopop? I ask only because those are most of the Hayabusa matches that Ive seen. They had the Hayabusa vs. Mike Awesome match where he fucked up the SSP and landed on his head, a bunch of gimmick death matches, and another 25 minute plus match with Gladiator where they shook hands afterwards. Also they put out the full PPV where it was H vs. Hayabusa the Impostor with Shawn Michaels as guest ref.

I ask becuase I really want to see more of Hayabusa. Are the matches I listed his best? Are they a good sampling of the stuff he's done in his career?

Here's a picture of Ezaki as H hitting Hayabusa II (Gannosuke) with a flying elbow:

I have those Tokyopop collections but I hardly ever watch them because the commentary is so horrible that it's damn near insulting. When I watch them I usually just turn the sound off. :nono: But I have that match with Gannosuke as Hayabusa with HBK as special guest referee on my computer so sometimes I watch the end where Eiji and Honda make up because it makes me feel warm and fuzzy.

There really is no best or worst, it's all personal opinion and objective viewpoint. However, those matches are really good, but then again, I can only name a couple matches involving Hayabusa that aren't; he was so talented and always gave 110%. Those matches though are a very good sampling of the kind of thing he's capable of, but other matches showcase his skills more thoroughly. Hell, I can send you a couple of his best if you want. And for those of you who don't have them, the Tokyopop compilations are pretty damn good if you can stomach the commentary.

Only the first couple of them had the really shitty commentary. For the last wave, they hired a web-based Wrestling journalist to take over on color commentary. He was actually pretty good, and gave decent perspective on the matches.

The first few collections, tho, i know what you mean. He would make all kind of outlandish claims like FMW got all their barbed wire from the Berlin Wall and that the Imposter Hayabusa was actually a literal Clone of the original. I felt like smacking that guy.

And any matches of Hayabusa would be really appreciated. I wish there was a national fed in the US that featured mainly Lucha style/crusierweight wrestling.

In the second editions the guy still got the names of moves wrong though, and the way he pronounced Gannosuke's name changed like every time...

 You and me both.

That's why I always prefered WCW to the WWF; because of their luchadores. I couldn't care less about Scott Hall or Hollywood Hogan, the entire nWo can kiss my ass as a matter of fact, but WCW always featured (and proudly) wrestlers like Rey Mysterio, Ultimo Dragon, Jushin Liger, Psychosis, Kidman, La Parka (the most underrated luchadore of all time), Blitzkreig, Super Calo, and hell, even lesser known guys like Silver King and Hector Garza. God bless them for that.

Hey Bolt, you want to upload some of those matches? I'd like to see this guy's stuff.

Yeah, no problem. I'll start upping a couple in a couple hours unless you guys absolutely can't wait. :)
