FF6 Have you ever played it via phone

Final Fantasy VI (1994): An ensemble cast fights against Kefka, a nihilistic madman bent on godhood and destruction. It’s known for emotional storytelling, a shattered world midpoint, and one of gaming’s most iconic villains. AKA Final Fantasy 6, FF6, FFVI
I have not played it on iPhone. But I have played some of the games on the Android. It seems like the Android based phone has plenty of the tower defense games. And you can surely get more out of such games these days.
 

No question that they are making a profit on mobile platforms or else they wouldn't even invest, and even if some games are similar or almost equal as you mention, they dimension of the screen and the controls can make all the difference, not to mention battery life. Either cases, it's surely an expanding market.
 
The smaller screens are definitely a problem. Not as much on tablets though, but those are very awkward to play games on.
Controls can also be a problem, but it depends on how they are implemented and the type of game itself.
Yeah, it is an expanding market. I think I have read somewhere that it is going to eventually overtake pc and console gaming markets in revenue.
 
Expanding market can really mean different things depending on how you look at it, but you can definitely see things improving pretty quickly. Hopefully that means that soon it will almost be comparable, but I guess we shall see.
 

Yeah, thing is that most people today are always on the move, and more and more use their phones that often enough also have bigger and bigger screens. So, at the end of the day, even if pc gaming is obviously far better, more people will just play mobile because they can do it anytime, anywhere.

Comparable how ?
Mobile hardware will always be far weaker than pc/console hardware, and the main reason for that is that it has to be restricted to very low power usage. So it is very unlikely that we are ever going to see big, ambitious and demanding games, like Skyrim for example, on smartphones.
 
There is a huge difference in playing games on a mobile v/s games played on a PC and console. The appearance of the screen, graphics, sound and visual effects depict a lot of variations. The mobile-friendly versions are designed to just adapt to work on the reduced setup and this limits their working. Most of the gamers cannot play any game on a mobile. They simply do not get the real feel associated with plying video games.
 
While I dislike playing games on a smartphone myself, I wouldn't say most gamers can't play games on phones. Mobile games market is pretty big for a reason. The problem often lies in ports of older console games where the controls weren't adapted well to the touchscreen. It could be solved by buying a gamepad, but I find the idea of playing games on a smartphone with a gamepad ridiculous.
 
I haven't also tried it on my phone because of memory and screen issues. My smartphones are not the high end though I love it to try it on my phone but I don't wanna be disappointed so I'll stick to it for now playing in offline.
 
There are many who cannot afford different gaming consoles. Moreover, most of the console games are highly expensive. This forces them to adapt to the mobile gaming.

Personally, I do not opt to play heavy games on a mobile phone. It is only when I'm traveling or out of the house, mobile games help to rule over boredom.
