I'm really curious to see how these figures will turn out, especially with the rich variety of characters in the Zelda universe. I hope they focus on some of the less common characters, like the sages from Breath of the Wild, rather than just Link and Zelda again. The detail on these figures will definitely determine whether they're just for collectors or if they can hold their own as toys too. What do you all think? Would you prefer classic designs or something more modern?

This is actually one of the better designed Zelda merch drops I have seen in years honestly. The attention to small details like the Zonai hand option for Link shows they actually looked at the source material instead of slapping a generic design together. I like that Zelda has an interchangeable hand too since that adds some posing variety without needing extra accessories. Ganondorf with the Gloom Sword is a nice callback to his boss fight, that weapon design was one of the coolest parts of the game for me. The pricing seems reasonable when you compare it to other licensed figures these days, especially with the level of detail shown here. My worry now is paint quality since promo shots always look better than the actual product on shelves. Still excited though, this might be worth preordering early before stock runs low.

Six inch scale with a fabric cape sounds like it is aiming for that premium collector shelf instead of just a kids toy line, which honestly makes me trust the price tag more. The interchangeable hands across all three figures is a small detail but shows real thought went into the sculpting process. I do wonder how sturdy the joints will feel after repeated posing since that tends to be where cheaper lines fall apart over time. Comparing this to older Zelda merchandise, the improvement in accuracy is obvious. Ganondorf looking properly imposing next to the other two really sells the power difference between characters. If quality control holds up this could become one of the stronger licensed toy lines this year, right up there with some of the better anime figure releases.
