Harrasment in the Gabbly Chat

I know the Gabbly chat is good and all, but we're having a person named Impartialdude going into the chat and harassing us with TV-N bullshit, going as far as to call me the leader of HJU and that's why TV-N is the way they are.

I know ther'es nothing to be done, but someone needs to get this guys act together. I can post chat logs to prove this as well.

Yes I've seen this. He said he also goes by "MetalDave". He's coming in and starting drama.

Well, I can honestly say that i don't know anything about whats going on there, as I've never been there to have seen anything, but MetalDave hasn't had any official association with tv-nihon since well before I joined, which was over 2 years ago. There's pointless drama and politics involved but I won't bother getting into it, because no one, least of all myself, is interested.

Understandble, but he's throwing your name out there and running behind your name and harassing our members, going as far as to say that KR is talking about us on your forums.

I do not know if he's trying to instigate a fight but someone needs to talk to him so this does not escalate into something nasty.

We have no ways in to kicking him out the chat because there's no op controls like there is in IRC; but its getting to the point that it sbecoming ridiculous.

The best thing to do is to ignore him using the ignore command in the chat, whatever it is. If he has a Gabbly account, then report him to them so they can handle it from there.

Speaking of which... is anyone in Gabbly right now?

As far as I can tell he's not a registered member here, at least not under the names MetalDave or Impartialdude. A search on RB didn't turn up those usernames either. In all likelyhood he's just some random dude who's just trolling. If he shows up again in the GabblyChat, as has been said previously the best thing to do is just ignore him.

i heard somewhere that metaldave and kingranger were the ones who started tvn and kingranger ended up banning metaldave

Its true that MetalDave was a founder, I don't really know all the details about their falling out, but then again, I've been told before and ignored it, because it really didn't concern me. But as i mentioned he hasn't been a member in a loooong while now. Last i remember hearing, which again like with impulse was just something I'd heard and nothing thats grounded in proof of any sort, was that MetalDave had gone on to Mishi afterwards. But again, Thats a whole can of political worms that i didn't care to waste my time researching.
