Hajime No Ippo: New Challenger

after a 7 year hiatus from the animation studio madhouse, one of the best boxing anime since ashita no joe returns, and is looking better than ever.

it picks up the story arc right after the Mashiba vs Kimura Oav, and every episode is looking movie quality; smooth and crisp animation. for fans of the original series like me, this is quite the rare treat and triumphant return, as well for people new to the series who just like boxing or serious awesome pulse-pounding action, you gotta watch it.

I wasn't expecting this to have a 2nd season at all, though I was hoping for one. When it came out I was totally shocked and stolked! So happy to see Ippo back!
