Has anyone here played it? Is there any difference between the regular version and NEXT plus?

I have NEXT Plus.
Other than more mech's, the one major difference is the Next Dash Feature.
Pretty much by tapping the boost button (X) you can cancel out of combo on a dime. So you can start a combo, cancel out of it into a Weapon, or another combo or just get away.
They also took out the Cross-specials.

Everywhere You Go
Gundam Extreme VS is the latest game in the series though. So I've got that to look forward to if it hopefully gets ported. It'll hopefully get ported to PS3. The arcade version came out last month I think. There are already video for it on YouTube and Nico Nico Douga. Such an awesome game! But yeah, you probably should keep up with the latest game, even if you can't play it yet!
