I liked G-Saviour. It gave us what we wanted and did not ruin the anime/manga Gundam stories. It's almost a guilty pleasure.

However, I've often wondered what a live action UC Gundam movie would be like. But the UC stories are so deep and intricate, I wouldn't want anyone in Hollywood doing a movie like this unless they could do it right. I'd rather have a million more movies like G-Saviour then a terrible live action movie adaption.

I wish America can make their own gundams based on the originals. But hope it'll be almost like Gundam Wing.

I don't really think Gundam is that popular over here to warrant some kind of Americanized live action series ala Transformers...and after what happened with G-Savior, I doubt Bandai's willing to gamble on another live action Gundam for awhile.

Wasn't G-Savior made by an english speaking director and cast?

At any rate, any DVDs by now would probably be long discontinued.
