Yeah, we did see the Astray cut through the Virtue's all out beam attack in the beginning of the episode.

You know what, I was thinking that it was just the blades that could do it.

Then I remembered, the first Plavsky Hakken vs. Build Knuckle where he was trying to phase-cancel the plavsky in the fist which Reiji countered with changing the phase through acceleration, so yeah the Hakken would probably cancel the beams as well.

I like Nils more now that he's showing this more laxed side to him, he brings an interesting dynamic to the group of Reiji, Sei, and Mao.

Speaking of Mao…poor little guy is still hung up over Misaki. Makes you wanna give him a big ol hug.
 
Looks like Exia is going to be remodified as Dark Matter soon.
