Well to be fair what they're adding with Super Street Fighter IV is enough to be a new game on its own. About 10ish new characters so far and new gameplay mechanics. Sure they could release that as DLC but it'd be pretty damn big. Besides this really shouldn't be that big of a surprise, Capcom did it with just about every other Street Fighter game out there.

Well at least this is an excuse for me to get IV on the PS3, even if its a different game.

I have no problem whatsoever about Capcom redoing Street Fighter 4 like they did with Sf 2. Just as long as I can play it with new characters people can bitch and moan until their asses bleed out bloddy murder.

This was created with hardcore Street Fighter fans in mind. Fans that would be more than willing to pony up a full $60 for this update. Though I assume it will only be half price. We're getting more from this update than SNK offered with KoF XII.

I love Street Fighter and all, but I barely play SFIV now. Maybe Ill have the itch for some more Street Fighter by the time it comes out, which probably wont be before next Spring. Tekken 6 and Uncharted 2 should keep me nice and toasty in the meantime though.
