Who is better: Superman, Batman, or Spiderman?

They're all cool in their own ways. They each have something that makes them awesome characters.
If I'm really pressed to pick just one then I'd have to pick Superman. I've loved the character pretty much since I was 5 and he is the grandaddy of them all. He embodies the spirit of everything a superhero is. It would be so easy for him to be selfish with his power but he makes the choice not to but instead to be a friend to all humanity. Plus, he's a fun character! Very few modern writers seem to understand how he works but when the character has the right creative forces driving him then his true potential shines through. Same goes with artists who draw him, actors who portray him, etc.
When I saw the first Superman movie with Christopher Reeve as a child I think that is the thing that really brought him to life for me. My other favorite incarnations of him are the classic Fleisher toons from the 40's and the Bruce Timm animated series.
The character gets a lot of flak for being too good, or too powerful, or not Wolverine bloody death-kill enough or whatever. To me it's all BS. The character works, you just have to understand that there's more to him than just trying to be "badass". I just don't have enough energy right now to type out how amazing Batman is, but I'll tell you this -- I've got a lot more respect for someone who fights for justice by solving crimes and devising plans to take down super-baddies than Supes and Spidey -- they only have two options, become heroes or become villains. When you've got super powers, whether you want to or not, you're going to be one of those two things (according to Marvel and DC at least)
But Batman? Sheeeeeit, he's RICH for Christ' Sake. It's like when Go-On Green struck it rich in that episode recently, he gave up being a hero because "being rich was more fun." But not Batman, he risks his life every night for the people of Gotham City, and the people of the world.

I've always loved Spiderman that most. I loved Superman as a kid too, watching the Christopher Reeve movies and the occasional cartoon, but the only show I watched religiously was the original Spiderman cartoons, and I've loved all three of the movies.
I never really liked Batman, but I get what Grappler's saying. :O
