Got X-Box 360

Out of all that Wii bullshit last month, my bro ended up getting 360 for X-Mas. The system he's wanted the most out of all of them.

Now, I need some game recomendations. So far Superman Returns, Dead Rising, and Command & Conquer III: Tiberium Wars.

I also heard Halo 3, House of the Dead 4, and Virtua Fighter 5 are scheduled for 360 in 2007. :buttrock:

I just got Dead Rising for X-mas here. It's fun so far but there's too much story. I just want to get into the zombie smashing dammit. And the font is SO SMALL. >_< I can barely read the damned dialogue!

I would recommend, Smackdown Vs Raw 07 (of course), Burnout Revenge (my favorite racing series), and Gears of War (which is a very fun and great looking action/shooter game. It's short but fun as hell.)

FEAR and PREY are kewl games too but you can buy those on the PC as well, which, my policy is: If you can buy an FPS on the PC, then do it. Because it's always better on the PC. Aiming is just never as smooth on consoles. (Though Wii has gotten pretty close)

If you like Might & Magic/D&D type RPGs, you might like Oblivion (Elder Scrolls 4).

There's a ton of great games out for Xbox360 right now.

I would TOTALLY recommend Lost Planet which comes out January 12th. It's an action/shooter from Capcom which has some amazing looking graphics and a sci-fi/artic type atmosphere. Even some mech action as well.

Isn't the Virtua Fighter franchise a Playstation exclusive? But there's lots more great 360 games coming out. Lost Planet is one of them. For RPG fans like myself, Enchant Arms is a good Jap RPG bet; it's not brilliant but it's solid and will help tide you over until the really great stuff like Blue Dragon & Mass Effect.

Gears of War too is a must-have for shooter fans and racing fans can choose from Need For Speed Carbon and Most Wanted which are pretty good too. Long live the 360!

Dead Rising demands that you use nothing other than a TV with HD capability.

Unfortunately, the disgustingly small text is a side-effect of playing it on a standard set... or so it was said on a review I read over on BBC.co.uk.

I know exactly how horrid the tiny text is... as it left me unable to play the game on my 14'' regular set at home. I could only play the game on my parents 32'' set in the living room... and even then, the text was only marginally larger. T_T

How the hell did he score that? He probably made a deal with your parents to not burn down the house if he got the 360. I wouldn't buy any violent games for him, it'll give him too many ideas.

Now if you're talking about games for yourself to play when he's not around, I'd prefer Halo 3 and and House of Dead 4. Of course you'll need a sweet display to play it on.

I got one too and I wadss wondering if there was a way to play import games outside of modchips (like a load disk or something).

Also, I managed to get my hands of Gears of War and Need For Speed Most Wanted, any other games worth mentioning?

I probably wouldnt risk modding the Xbox at all. Any third party alterations voids your warranty so. Are import games really worth it? Most games for Xbox get released in America fast enough.
