I think this drama had a strong concept but weak execution. The world-building was rushed. The fantasy element was introduced quickly but never fully developed. What are the rules of her power? Can she control it better over time? Can she see it in animals or just humans? There are so many questions, but the series doesn’t answer many of them. Also, the twist with the recurring dream was underused. It had the potential to become the core mystery of the show, but it stayed on the side. I also found the portrayal of mental illness to be uneven. While the show made an effort to treat it with respect, some scenes felt too simplified. I would have liked to see more time spent on individual patient stories. That would’ve grounded the fantasy in real-world situations. Still, I give credit to the actors for doing their best with limited screen time. Jang Hee Ryung especially gave her character depth. I think with a better script and more episodes, this could have been a great series.

. The smoke rising slowly is a chilling idea. It’s quiet, not dramatic, but still creates tension. That kind of subtle horror works better for me than jump scares. I wish they explored more scenes where she had to stop a death in progress. It felt like the show didn’t fully lean into its creepy side. Also, six episodes was too short. Just when things were getting interesting, it ended. I think they should consider a second season or maybe even a spin-off focusing on others who have powers like Bae Soo Ah. That part intrigued me a lot.

Soo Ah and Hyun Woo had romantic energy. He didn’t believe her at first, but he still looked out for her, and when she came back to work with him, the mood changed. They relied on each other. That’s romantic to me. I liked the way their relationship developed slowly, even though the series was short. Sometimes you don’t need big gestures to show love. Just being there for each other is enough. The dream part also made me think there was something deeper between them, maybe even fate. I hope there’s a follow-up someday that shows where they go from here.

I’ve watched a lot of short-format Korean dramas, and this one definitely stood out. The mix of crime, medical, and supernatural genres isn’t common. Usually these dramas focus on just one thing, but this one tried to do more. And it worked, mostly. The pacing was uneven, but I give it credit for ambition. It had a strong first episode and a good final one. The middle could’ve used more development. I also liked how it didn’t overexplain the fantasy parts. It let viewers figure things out on their own. That’s rare. The drama reminded me a bit of “Save Me” or “The Guest”, though much lighter in tone. I don’t think it’s for everyone, but if you like genre blends, it’s worth a try.

As soon as I saw the old guys wearing wigs in the first episode I knew it was going to be FUN!
