Anybody ever had a chance to see Godzilla X MechaGodzilla? The movie that leads up to Godzilla X Mothra X MechaGodzilla: Tokyo S.O.S? Is it a nice movie to grab up?

i liked it,but it's way to similar to the Megaguris movie.but a good movie nontheless

The revival of the King of Kaiju was something to behold. Damn Tristar's Godzilla. You getting your ass kicked was one of the best moments in Final Wars.

Well, you ain't seen nuttin' until you see it in widescreen on DVD! (Assuming you haven't already.)

It was also the first Japanese-made Godzilla film to get a DVD release in Japan.

The revival of the King of Kaiju was something to behold. Damn Tristar's Godzilla. You getting your ass kicked was one of the best moments in Final Wars.

Some fans even argue that the above scene is worth the price of admission alone. :laugh:

But yes, that scene made me feel so proud. Any cynical jerk who hates Godzilla and loves this Hollywood imitator can kiss my royal ass!

G84 was great for Teruyoshi Nakano's SPFX. That was as old-school as you could get. The rest of the VS Series started out fresh, but got really, really stale. The Millennium Series was much more entertaining, with standalone takes on the character. GMK was the best of the films, IMHO.

I always loved Godzilla vs Mecha-Godzilla (90's)! But I also felt the pilots in Mecha-Godzilla should have fried!!
