Saw it, fell asleep. It was embarassing being in a theater with a bunch of kids and their moms. Even when entering the specific theater for the movie, the mother in front of me after glancing at me thought she got the wrong theater and went to check. And I ended up falling asleep watching it. I guess that's what happens when you spend all night in Shinjuku with some bands drinking up a storm and hanging out.
Oh and BoukenSilver's suit is so ugly. I haven't paid attention Boukenger or Kabuto so I had never seen the suit before today. It sure is mad ugly on the big screen in high quality. Oh and the Kabuto movie was basically alternate universe, and I will say this one thing, those of you who hate Ryuki TV series because of the ending will probably hate this movie. Then again people will probably praise it anyways because most people here are fanboys of the newest big thing.
I'd try to do a decent review but as I said I ended up snoozing, especially during the plot points involving sending some shuttle into space into an asteroid. And I thought the Hyper Zector whatever thing was lame and it was cheaply used especially for the ending.
Addendum: I also found it very strange for the climax to have a BGM of "God Bless America", I was uhhh very confused why they had to use it...
P.P.S. People will probably like it because it's sort of a prequel but not? Oh and whoever did the wardrobe for this movie was on crack or something. Most of the wardrobe just didn't fit with the setting at all...and some outfits were obnoxiously fancy, I felt I was watching a live action Gundam 0079 whenever there were scenes with Zect crew. Neo-Zect crew's kinda fit better though. But Tendou's outfits mainly seemed like he just came from Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills or something and if you knew the setting, that just doesn't work.
