Giovanni Tortorici's new film Ketticè features Monica Bellucci

Italian director Giovanni Tortorici is back with his second feature, "Ketticè," which is making waves at the Locarno Film Festival. Following his debut "Diciannove," this coming-of-age drama set in 2012 Palermo showcases the incredible Monica Bellucci in the role of an "eccentric" aristocratic matron.

Tortorici mentioned,
"Working with Monica was an extraordinary experience, as she brings an incredible depth to her character."
He's definitely shaping up to be a director to watch!

Anyone else excited to see how this turns out?

I found "Ketticè" to be a fascinating get into the complexities of youth and identity in Palermo. Monica Bellucci's performance was absolutely a highlight, her portrayal of the eccentric aristocrat added so much nuance and depth to the story. Tortorici definitely showcased his talent in weaving a narrative that's both personal and reflective of larger societal themes.

I loved how he captured the essence of 2012 in Italy; it felt almost nostalgic. Did anyone else feel that the film's cinematography really enhanced the storytelling? What was your favorite moment?
