I kinda have a hankerin' for one. Does anybody have favorites? How does Armoured Core stack up?

Maybe a Zone of the Ender's game?

"Giant Robot games", huh? Well, if you're "new" to those type of games, I would choose something like Front Mission. Or "Mobile Suit Gundam: Journey to Jaburo". Big problem with the Gundam game is the controls, though, but it's easy to get get used to. However, if you want more fun (and a lot more fast-paced action), then I would definitely choose either of the Zone of the Enders games on the PS2 (not the GBA one, since it's a strategy game).

Looking for a classic giant robot game? Look no further than RAD (Robot Alchemic Drive). The voice acting is SUPER horrible, but the game fully creates the feel of controlling a huge mech down a city street! You even have classic moves of shooting your fists at enemies, and watch the fun as buildings & bridges explode as you fall into them.

The controls might seem "sluggish" for people used to fast moving mech games...but come on...you're controlling a 50ft robot here! Pretty much L1 controls your left leg, R1 controls your right and the thumbsticks control your arms. It takes a little bit to get used to, but it's a blast when you do.

Other than RAD, both ZOE games are killer as well.

I'm going with Rider Faiz, RAD is a great giant robot game to get. I haven't found anybody who doesn't like this game when they played it.

But if you can't find it, I had to get my copy from Amazon, you can' go wrong with the Zone of Enders games either

Shifty read my mind. R.A.D. is the game to get. I'm dying for a PR game to do Zord battles like R.A.D. Z.O.E. The 2nd Runner is superb as well.
