Getting into Star Trek

FK,

TOS is first, TNG is the 2nd series, DS9 is the third series, Voyager is the 4th series and Enterprise 5th

I have never seen TOS at all and I don't intend to watch it anyways but I have watched the first 6 TOS movies though.

The Next Generation is great....

Deep Space Nine is a tricky one.....many fans loved it...many others didn't care much for it or disliked it completely but watched all of it anyways. I didn't watch the first 2 seasons as it didn't do anything for me but I did watch most of season 3 and all of season 4 to 7. Season 4 to 7 was my most favorite seasons.

Voyager is a great one but many fans didn't care much for Voyager. It was considered a decent season but it was great in some ways. I love Voyager so I'm a Voyager! lol

Enterprise (later called Star Trek: Enterprise starting with season 2) only had 4 seasons. Enterprise didn't interest me much at all but I have seen some episodes there and there.

The Next Generatioin and Voyager are my most favorite Star Trek series.

There is 10 trek movies. The first 6 is the TOS movies. Movie 7, 8, 9, and 10 are the TNG movies. Want the list of the titles of the trek movies?

Coming on December 25th, 2008...the 11 Trek movie is a TOS one...a prequal to TOS before Kirk took command.

Trek has been on break since Enterprise got cancelled in May 2005.

If the 11th Trek movie is succesful...we would get a trek series a couple years after that (hopefully that would come in winter 2010 or fall 2010 unless in Fall 2009 if they come up with the idea fast and start filming). I really miss seeing a trek series on TV lol

I hope this time they let go of the past and go for something set AFTER Voyager. Further in the future.

Maybe some new spaceship with a Quantum Slipstream Drive or something that could actually visit another galaxy.

The Pegasus Galaxy worked for Stargate, so why not Trek? :p

And PLEASE oh PLEASE stay AWAY from too much time travel plots ><

And don't touch that reset button!! The reset button was Voyager's biggest fault. Year of Hell was a pain to see undo completely ><

Someone once suggested Voyager should have ended her voyage looking different from the Starfleet standard she was, basically integrating new technology as it went along (like keeping those Borg modification from the war with the 8472.

Oooh maybe if a new Trek was set in the future one of the crewmember could be a 8472! In a human guise to allow better interaction (like Filia in Slayers not being a Dragon all the time).
