GekiChopper: A Disappointment?

Given how important Gekichopper is to the overall story, I find Ken's intro episodes to be underwhelming.

Sadly, I would have to agree on that :disappoin but I was like "HOLY **** WTF" when I first saw him and he had facial hair  And I look a little bit like him also.

Give him time. It took me a while to warm up to Yuuto in Den-O, so Ken may get better as Geki progresses along.

As for me, I was kind of indifferent to Ken's debut, but I do like his free-spirit personality.

Final results aren't in, but his introduction was definately a letdown. It's like they didn't even really try with his character. One moment he's not there, the next.... he's on the team and getting his morph on.

Hopefully as things go on he'll get more fleshed, but yeah... so far, he's pretty unimpressive.

I'll have a better thought on him when his arc is completed. At this point I'm 50/50 about him. He's still enjoyable to watch, I love his weapon and his suit.

I have a feeling we are all in for a rude awakening when Ken gets SaiDaiOh. That Black Belt he has on his suit isn't just for show, it represents the highest rank in Martial Arts (minus dans/degrees). I know Toei's writers aren't stupid enough to make a Warrior/Senshi/RANGARRR have a Black Belt on his suit without the proper respect to that, especially in a martial arts themes television program.

I say don't vote until this Chopper arc is done and we see him at full power like we've seen the 3 Geki's with Kageki and Gou fucking **** up.

I just hope in future Sentai anniversary specials, when they look back on Geki they'll say Ken was the first ranger with facial hair  Sorry I just find that awesome   :P

I did think he was a bit of a disappointment, but then again, I also thought GekiViolet was a disappointment. Gou's acting is still terrible IMO, except in the scene with Rio (28), and that wasn't even him. But enough about Violet.

I really like Ken. He reminds me of Sharkie, being entrusted with stuff and being irresponsible. I hate the SaiBlade, but in general I thought GekiChopper was all right. There was too much of a built-up for him, though, and I think that's why I was disappointed.

I like GekiChopper the ranger, but I do not like the man in the suit. He is just way to over the top and I find him boring. Geki Violet was so amazing I wish they had just stopped their with new rangers.

I find GekiChopper the opposite =/ I see him as the Gekiranger with the most energy in him...right next to Jan. I mean I think giving him the whole free spirit idea is awesome, sure his introduction episodes were pretty dull but that would be Ken's style, just show up mellow like, and not make a big fuss like what we had with GekiViolet's introduction.
