I'm guessing either it was too time constraint or it was too short for her to actually make something interesting out of.

I still think that either the necklace Alfonso has might be the key to Garo's armour becoming stable and looking like the version we're all used to, which we did get a glimpse of it this episode.

Either that, or we might get two Garo armours that look totally different from one another, since I had this weird feeling the necklace looked like Barago's necklace that he used to transform in the first season of Garo.

I'm still watching. I'm not entirely sure what was going on with episodes 7 and 8. Either they're weird filler episodes or they're building blocks that will become significant later. I guess time will tell. But I can't find any indication online that the series is continuing into the next season, so it's going to have to hurry if it wants to wrap things up in only five episodes.

CD Japan listed the next opening days ago, so I bet that this is going to be 20 something episodes long, which makes me wonder: the season 2 they just announced is a real season 2 for the future or just the next 12 episodes of this one?

Because if it is the later, they weren't very subtle announcing the new opening beforehand.

People are saying that the 1st opening is terrible? I like it a lot, and I've seen mostly good reactions.

Personally I think the song is fine. It's neither the best nor the worst that JAM Project have provided for Garo. But I don't really like the visuals. Having said that, the few reviews I've read all seemed to praise them.

OK not entirely. Episode 7 starts by introducing a black knight, and episode 8 has a scene showing that the black knight's backstory is intertwined with German's. There is also a scene in episode 8 where German admits to Ema that Leon isn't really worthy of being the golden knight (though tbh I don't think the series has really justified that statement at all). But the majority of episode 7 is Leon on a amnesiac side-quest that seems like a dead-end, and episode 8 is mostly German running around naked.

A second season for this show has been confirmed, as well as a movie tie-in. Also, other Garo projects for the live-action side have been confirmed.
