I've been thinking a lot about games that hit me right in the feels when I least expected it. Like, you get into a title expecting typical gameplay or action, and then BAM, you're hit with a story or moment that just leaves you breathless. For me, that was *The Last Guardian*. I went in for the puzzle platforming and adorable giant creature, but the bond between the boy and Trico took me on an emotional rollercoaster I didn’t see coming.
Another great example is *Undertale*. It's a quirky game, and I was laughing one minute, but then you realize the weight of your choices, and it really makes you question your morals and relationships with the characters.
What are some games that caught you off guard with their emotional storytelling? I'd love to hear your experiences! Did any particular scenes or narratives stay with you long after you played?
