Games That are VERY HJU.

What're games out there that emulate HJU to the core? Be it martial arts, giant robots or both.

A game that stands above all others to me as VERY HJU... is Xenogears.

Martial artists piloting giant mechs. You don't get much more HJU than that.

What are some others?

Fighting mobs of grunts as a team in Guardian Heroes is very HJU.

Robot Alchemic Drive where you control a giant mech from the ground also fits, even if I really couldn't get into it.

That is a concept I wish would be revisited.

that's the first game that comes to my mind.

The Megaman ZX series.

Henshin heroes? Check.

Coming of age story? Check.

Guy who seems to be the villian but it turns out he's working for somebody? Check.

Giant robots? Check-ish.
