Left 4 Dead is great.. if you like FPS games, they're not everyone's cup of tea though. as for RPGs, right now Fallout 3 is pretty much the must play PC RPG if you don't like American style RPGs.
For Wii, if you like RPGs, check out Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, while not necessarily the best of the series, it's a solid SRPG with an interesting story. I can't recommend Zack and Wiki enough, it's a flash back to old puzzle based adventure games, but it's entirely enjoyable. Tales of Symphonia II is also decent, but makes more sense if you play through the original game cube game.
As for DS.. well.. there's no shortage of DS games worth playing. Legend of Kage has been great fun and a good throwback to the old nes game, and Rune Factory 2 (a fantasy themed harvest moon game) just came out last week.
Alternately.. depending on jsut how much you did come into, you might want to look into a new system if it's a possibility, there's three whole world of gaming left for you to explore.
