Watching it now...
-Alright, just seen the opening and I have to say I like what I see. "More than a job! It's a BLAST! BE A HERO!" Gotta say I liked that opening... made me smile. Let's see what the rest of this show can do...
-I dig Duke's voice, if not his unremarkable costume. I see people's complaints about Scarlett... she does look like a teen versus the sexy woman bombshell she's suppose to be. Like the action direction so far and the music...
-Cool! Jinx from G.I. Joe the movie and Kamakura from the comic book! That's pretty cool.
-Hmph... Hi-Tech.... he's no Mainframe or Dial-Tone.
-I'm hearing good voice acting.... Destro and Baroness seem to be in good form.
-Ugh... chemistry between Heavy Duty and Tunnel Rat.. bleh. Not liking Tunnel rat much at all. With these resources, I really wish they had Bob Forward and.... they other guy who made Beast Wars so awesome.
-Ninjas! Fuckin' love it... action well done and going with evil robot soldiers is a good idea. Joes don't have to hold back on destroying 'bots. Great ninja action and I'm digging Kamakura and Jinx's voice. Once again, really coo they pulled out those characters for this little Ninja Force. If their action figures are cool, I'm going to have to pick those guys up.
-Damn well directed and executed action animation here for what it is. I'm impressed and enjoying. I hope the kids are digging this as much. I know if I were 7, I'd be all about assembling my friends into a team of Joes to take on Cobra in my neighborhood. Me likes... I hope they can keep this up and develope a far reaching and interesting plot with each following episode.
-Scarlett's growing on me.... good voice makes her seem at least a mature 19 year old if not early 20's.... I'm down.
-That's my Cobra.. goin' big. Could've just blown Duke up, but instead... they'll shoot him into space. Much more cost effective.
-LOVE these ninjas!
-Huh... I have to say I liked it a fuckload. Looking forward to more. Pretty much precisely what I'd want outta a G.I. Joe show... shooting, action, cool vehicles, cool heroes, only thing that's missing is what we were missing from a lot of the remakes...... the armies. Original G.I. Joe had quite the vast array of heroes and villians to fill their ranks, where here we're getting some covert team. I hope as the show goes on they introduce more such as Quickkick, Mutt, Lifeline, LowLife, and Lady J. Felt the ending was kinda abrupt and that the over all tone just isn't American Army feeling enough, but we'll see. I hope they didn't blow their load all in the first episode to hook us, only skimp on the action and plot development in the coming eps.
I for one am sold. :thumbs:
