G.I. D'OH! - Marlon Wayans... Leader of the Joes?

[NinjaJack]

Well we're type casting here folks. More offten than not black comedians have proven to be Oscar worthy performers when they went for their serious sides.
Jamie Fox came from the same In Living Color that Marlon and Jim Carrey did.
Marlon is also a good actor when he wants to be, it's just that he keeps going for the wrong parts. I'm going to keep an open mind about this and check out the trailer when it comes out in eight or nine months.

[Keith Justice]

Yeah, but Jamie Fox was funny and charismatic.

[NinjaJack]

This is true, but going back to the Wayans Brothers show I could see bits and pieces of seriousnes. Of course these were then sandwich with random wacky lines

[Henshiner]

Sorry but...

Who the hell is Ripcord? I thought Falcon was the GIJoe leader.

[Forever Knight]

Nobody fucks with Marlon or any of the Wayans for that matter.

My favourite black people besides Eminem.

Nope. In nearly every continuity, Duke has been leader. But in the 80's version, he was relagated to second in command when General Hawk was introduced.
