G-FEST XVIII (July 9-11, 2010)

Anybody else planning on going to Chicago for this? They're gonna have Akira Takarada there, and as always lots of vendors and films being shown! I'm hyped and I've never been there before, so I'm really looking forward to it. The last time a Kaiju-themed con was held near me was back in '02, for AFFE (Asian Fantasy Film Expo). :disappoin R.I.P. So I'm dying for some convention action.

Anybody else goin? :buttrock:

Myself and the other members of G.H.I.D.R.A.H.* have been going for the past two years and fully intend to return again this year. Last year we showed the first two Ultraman Sorta episodes for the amateur film contest (to great success) and this year we intend to premiere Ultraman Sorta Episode 3 for the crowd.

Hell yes, we are going.

How much were the tickets last year?
