Skills: Sanjo is skilled in both Oni and Ningen magic.
Strengths: A skilled fighter and powerful shaman, Sanjo is the most skilled of the three. She carries the burden but does not show weakness in front of the others.
Weakness: Sanjo, being from a different time, is naïve to the new world around her. She often is lost or confused about things that would be common knowledge for others, like the television.
Among trivial things, Sanjo has hidden self-doubts about herself and the new OniRangers. She fears that if things do not change, the Oni will win the war.
Personality: Sanjo is from a different time and as such has a more serious personality befitting a warrior of that period. At the same time, she is fascinated by present day technology and often wanders away to explore Tokyo. Her edo period personality mixed with her modern day curiosity makes Sanjo a very unique person.
Background/History: Sanjo was born over one thousand years ago. Her father was the shaman that helped create the Fukumen. As such, it was only natural that the next great shaman of the tribe became one of the warriors. As one of the Oni Warriors, Sanjo helped defeat the Oni Tribe leader and sealed him in the twelfth mask. When the masks were sealed in stone, Sanjo was chosen to guard the stone by sealing herself in it as well. Sanjo knew that this was a great honor as a member of the tribe and vowed that she would keep the masks from falling into the wrong hands.

In present day, Sanjo and the masks have been released. She has recruited two Ningen descendants to help her gather the masks before the Oni Leader revives and the wards begin again.
