I mean it IS called 'KARATE Kid' not 'KUNG FU Kid'.

And Daniel wasn't African American either. Jackie Chan will sell some tickets and they can use Will Smith's son to make it a "hip" and "urban" update. Expect a new song by Will Smith during the closing credits, complete with booty shaking dancers.

I got no problem with a Black Karate kid. I got a problem with a chinese being presented as a Japanese character. Plus Jackie Chan doesn't have credibility as an old wise master --
