FORMAN = VENNNNOOOOMMMMMMMM

I really don't believe this news, I'm sticking to what Ain't It Cool News says, they've never let me down before. And Sam Raimi has stated in interviews that he doesn't like Venom and prefers the classic villians. Also Topher doesn't fit Venom/Eddie Brock's profile at all. Maybe he'll end up being Electro.

I just think Venom should have been the ONLY villian in one of the Spidey Movies. Nevermind sharing the screen with 20 other baddies. I dunno if I like this. :redface2:

I agree completely.

See, I don't think they're gonna introduce Venom in this movie...All we know is that Topher Grace is going to play the role of Eddie Brock...nothing official has been said about Venom being a part of the movie...And besides, if anyone here reads "Ultimate Spider-Man", Eddie Brock wasn't a buff motherfucker...

Last I saw Topher his hair was dyed blondish so I figured he'd play Sandman, not Venom, is this confirmed? I hope not. The build up with Eddie Brock took a while in the Spiderman comics.They won't have enough time to rightfully build Eddie Brock's conflict with Peter Parker. Nothing seems to be confirmed according to Ain't it cool news, his sources are saying next movie will have Electro and Sandman, while he says another site is claiming this Hobgoblin/Venom/Sandman rumor. However Harry can't be Hobgoblin, that'd be untrue to the comic, Harry is suppose to be the second Green Goblin not Hobgoblin.

Harry is the Hobgoblin in Ultimate Spider-man.

Am I the only one who thinks these Spider-man movies are borrrrrrrring and completely loses the fun of the comics, namely Peter Parker being a fun dude and not a stiff goober like Tobey Maguire? :shrug: I don't understand the love for these movies.

It would be the movie's speed to cast anyone from That 70s Show as a villain. Hell, the dude from "Wings" is a villain in the next one. Casting hasn't been a strong point in these Spidey flicks.
