Oh yes, the Battle Grid mode Helmets..

Basically they seem like Saban just took a MMPR Red / TyrannoRanger helmet and painted it in different colours!! :laugh:

But why? what the hell were they used for? Why not just give them the Spielban/Metalder/Shaider suits?. I don't get it?.

Gotta admit, the Red Ranger helmet that got painted white is pretty weird. :laugh: Heh most of the footages are just cut and paste from Metalder and Spielban, especially with the Spielban spaceship and with him riding his bike from his ending clip.

I think part of the reason for Saban to come up with the Battle Grid was that obviously he didn't have any suits anywhere...but by creating weird, hey-that-looks-vaguely-trooperish designs, he could let all three actors appear at once.

Otherwise, J.B. and Kaitlyn were ALWAYS somewhere else because they weren't from Ryan's series. This way, Ryan and Kaitlyn (sp?) could be in the same scene and the same fight without designing Dragonzord-vs.-Tigerzord cuts and strange sequences.

Anyone got the opening w/ Ryan as "Shaider"? I'm looking to get as much Shaider in before my package arrives, which is the entire "Space Sheriff Shaider" series. I need my fix!
