Anyone remember the Boomarang show?
It would have been on EAAAAAAAARLLLLLY in the morning...we're talking like 6:30am.

I just remember the ending of it, where the kids were singing the Boomarang show song, and holding up letters to spell out Boomarang while in front of a barn.
Only reason why this ending is burned into my memory forever, is because it signled that CARTOONS were gonna be on next!!!

Surprisingly enough...this show didn't bother me. Funny thing is that Ocean Group did both the American and the Japanese version, majority of the cast reprising their roles. The only thing that bother me is that kid from the American version...Merlin's descendant, Will. Hey, it was better than that Street Fighter toon...*bursts out laughing*...which like MK-Defenders of the Realm was not GI Joe.

I sort of have childhood memories of Voltes V. There used to be this video store near where my grandma lived that had a movie there with a couple english-dubbed eps on it, and I think that if that hadn't been there I wouldn't have only gone insane from having nothing to do while visiting the old folks, but might never have gotten intersted in anime and toku the way I have. Ah, 3B, the lord took you away from us too soon.

As for other memories:

Captain N the Game Master: I was caught in the thrall of Nintendo back in those days, there was nothing I could do but love this show. I still do.

Silverhawks: I know who the first man on the moon was because of this cartoon.

Galaxy Rangers: This was the best cartoon the West ever produced, bar none. Where can I get the DVD's?

Ulysses 31: None else could do the things he did.

And of course....

GO! MIGHTY ORBOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
