The Weinstein Company will release Dragon Tiger Gate. It is still unknown on what date. I doubt that Dragon Dynasty is also involved.

The movie itself is incredible. This could have easily been a prequel to SPL. Not bad for a 44 year old man.

I actually just saw it a few days ago. I like the shift towards grappling and mixed martial arts, the fight sequences certainly need to be seen to be believed. I don't think I remember Donnie suplexing anyone before - that was a good time. :thumbs:

Yeah, Dragon Tiger Gate was pretty cool except near the end, where Donnie decides to go "HAY GUYs, GOnna beat up the bad guy for ya!"

But, like with SPL to a degree, he seems to want to introduce more grappling to the fight sequences, without compromising on that hongkong sense of style...I want to see this next project of his!
