FK needs help Christmas shopping again!

Forever Knight

Eye See You
Every year I normally begin Christmas shopping for myself in October and the rest of my family & friends in November so I don't have to worry about anything in December. These will probably be the most most expensive 3 months in a long while. So I need some opinions on what I've boiled down my personal list of items I wanted to get for myself since I don't expect any family members to go out and buy items I actual want, I normally just let them buy me clothing and booze.

So here is my confirmed list of items I WILL be getting so far:
1. Neca's Dr. Channard Cenobite Boxed Set (from Hellbound: Hellraiser 2)

This will set me back $150 easily but it's a must since I'm a big NECA, Hellraiser, Boxed Set, and Horror fan.

2. ALL of the Marvel & DC Animated Movies on Blu-ray (this alone will set me back $600, but I love all of the films and it's a must for my Blu collection).

3. The Smallville Complete Series Collector's Edition DVD Boxed Set.

Best series I've watched since Highlander, Buffy, and Angel. I'm almost at season 5 and I'm in love with this show. This will drop another $250.

That's the easy part. Feedback on those items are also welcomed.

Here's the tough part....

Here is the list of items I am not sure on, I only one 2 or 3 of the items listen since they aren't cheap. The thing is I just cannot decide at all. So this is where I turn to the fandom to help guide me into the path of Jesus and all that is good.

1. Transformers: The Movie's UNICRON Statue

2. Revoltech's Optimus Prime & Megatron

I would literally display these figures by the legs of the Unicron statue above, I think that would look pretty damn sick.

3. DC Direct Superman vs. Brainiac Statue

My God.

4. Hot Toys 1989 Batman

5. Hot Toys The Dark Knight Batman

It basically boils down to 1 Hot Toys Figure and 1 Statue. The question is just WHICH ONES?.

Thanks for the input!.

I would say go for the 1989 bats...but then that would not be complete without 1989 joker...decisions...decisions...

If that were the 1992 Batman instead of the 1989 one, I'd say go for it. Yes, that figure pretty much looks exactly like Keaton in the suit (though I suspect the chin of the cowl's been given some creative license,) but I just think the TDK figure looks sooooo much more impressive. Plus you get the light-up Sonar head.

You should also get both of those Revoltechs, regardless. They're great, great, great figures.

Personally I wouldn't buy any of that stuff aside from the dvds so I can't really help you ... I will say this though as a suggestion ... & I have been doing this for the past couple of years my self ... Amazon makes for nice easy xmas shopping for others ... be it book or dvd or video games ... You could make a list of random dvd or video games /books you want & give it to them .... You won't know what of those things on the list you will be getting but at least it will be something you want :)

Do you own those Revoltech's by any chance?.

I also think I've come to a decision.

I'll hold off the Marvel & DC Animated Blu-rays until the new year, same for the Hot Toys Batmans.

So this way I get the Unicron statue, the 2 Revoltechs which when displayed on the Unicron statue = :buttrock:

and the Superman statue with the Smallville dvd box right next to it.

Total will run me almost $1,200.00

But I think that's the route I'm gonna go.
